Fady Mahouly
Al-Manar Channel mourned to its viewers and followers, to the people of the homeland and the resistance, and to all the free people of the world, the director of political programs on the channel, our colleague Hajj Muhammad Sheri and his wife, who were martyred in the Zionist raid on the Zoqaq al-Blat area in Beirut.
She said: The hand of Israeli treachery reached the safe civilians in their homes and apartments, as a result of which our colleague Muhammad Shari and his wife were martyred, and their children and grandchildren, including children and women, were injured and were subsequently transferred to hospitals.
She continued: The martyr colleague concluded decades of his missionary career as a resistance journalist, a revolutionary patriot, and a purposeful human being, believing in the weapon of the word to defend the truth no matter the cost. Al-Manar TV viewers knew him as a presenter of political programs and an educated, balanced, logical interlocutor, and his colleagues on the channel knew him as the director of political programs for ten years, a member of the board of directors, and a good, calm, and faithful colleague.
In his last days, the illness did not prevent him from his intellectual presence in the field of speech, and while he was recovering from surgery, the hand of Zionist crime fell on him in the morning raids on Beirut, and he rose to be a martyr, along with his patient wife, Hajja Umm Hassan.
As Al-Manar Channel mourns him as a martyr for the free speech, it pledges to him, and to all the martyrs, including leaders, resistance fighters, innocent families, and colleagues who have risen as martyrs, to continue on the path of truth, and to adhere to the free word and the honest and bright image, no matter how heavy the sacrifices are.
